A Strategic Leadership of Teacher S’ Active Learning Management Competence in Chiang Mai Primary Educational Service Area 3
Abstract
This quantitative research has three objectives: 1) to study the strategic leadership of school administrators; 2) to study the active learning ability of teachers; 3) to study the relationship between the strategic leadership of school administrators and the active learning ability of teachers; and 4) to study the impact of strategic leadership of school administrators on the active learning ability of teachers in the Chiang Mai Primary Educational Service Area 3. The population for this research consisted of school administrators and teachers. The sample size was determined using Krejcie and Morgan principle, selecting a total of 331 individuals through simple random sampling. Data was collected using questionnaires. The statistical methods used for data analysis included percentages, means, standard deviations, Pearson correlation coefficients, and stepwise multiple regression analysis. The research findings showed that: 1) The strategic leadership of school administrators, both overall and in each aspect, was at the highest level. The highest mean score was in the aspect of setting direction and vision, followed by the aspect of future forecasting, and the lowest mean score was in the aspect of implementing strategies/operation. 2) The active learning ability of teachers, both overall and in each aspect, was at the highest level. The highest average score was for the aspect of reflecting on performance, followed by the aspect of putting knowledge, skills, and essential attributes into practice, and the lowest average score was for the aspect of creating a conducive learning environment. 3) The strategic leadership of school administrators and the ability of teachers to manage active learning have a moderate positive correlation. 4) The strategic leadership of school administrators significantly affects the promotion of the ability of teachers to manage active learning in schools under the Chiang Mai Primary Educational Service Area Office 3 at the .05 statistical significance level.
