The Development of Learning Activity Packages on Good Citizenship Using the Think-Pair Share Technique for Grade 5 Students in Samchai Education Quality Development Network, Kalasin Province

Abstract

This research aimed to: (1) examine the efficiency of the learning activity packages; (2) compare students’ learning achievement before and after instruction; and (3) study students’ satisfaction with the use of the learning activity packages. The sample consisted of 24 Grade 5 students in the second semester of the 2025 academic year at Ban Nong Kung Yai School, selected through cluster sampling. The research instruments included learning activity packages and data analysis tools such as percentage, mean, standard deviation, and the efficiency index (E1/E2). The research results were as follows: (1) The efficiency of the learning activity packages showed that the process efficiency (E1) was 82.87 and the outcome efficiency (E2) was 95.42. Therefore, the developed learning activity packages on good citizenship using the Think–Pair–Share technique had an efficiency (E1/E2) of 82.87/95.42, which exceeded the standard criterion of 80/80. (2) Students’ learning achievement indicated that the pre-test mean score was 33.29 out of 40 (73.98%), while the post-test mean score increased to 37.29 out of 40 (95.42%). Additionally, 80% of the students achieved an average score higher than 80%, demonstrating significant improvement after using the learning activity packages. (3) Students’ satisfaction toward the learning activity packages was, overall, at a high level.
