Developing Strategies for Small School Management to Receive the Royal Award

The purpose of this study was to develop a small school management to receive the royal award strategy. Collecting Degree of Success and Importance data with questionnaires from the sample group were school director or deputy school director, and teachers working in small schools of Nakhon Si Thammarat. The data was analyzed using the Modified Priority Needs Index (PNImodified) technique to prioritize the needs. Then analyze strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. Determined as a small school management to receive the royal award strategy in the TOWS Matrix form. Subsequently, 15 experts used a strategy assessment guide created by the researcher. Conduct comprehensive assessments of usefulness, feasibility, comprehensiveness, and suitability. Analyze the data with the arithmetic mean, and standard deviation.
The findings are as follows:
1) When applying the existing strengths to take full advantage of opportunities, define it as a proactive strategy (SO Strategy) which is Strategy No. 1, Work to be proficient.
2) When taking advantage of strengths to prevent or resolve threats, define it as a defensive strategy (ST Strategy) which is Strategy No. 2, Develop work towards excellence.
3) When correcting weaknesses by taking advantage of the opportunities given, define it as a remedial strategies (WO Strategy) which are Strategy No. 3, Organize information systems for educational quality assurance, and Strategy No. 4, Create corporate culture values.
4) When solving or reducing problems caused by weaknesses and threats, define it as a reactive strategy (WT Strategy) which is Strategy No. 5, Increase working potential with technology.
5) Overall small school management to receive the royal award strategy evaluation results were at the highest levels in terms of usefulness, feasibility, comprehensiveness, and suitability.
