The Results of Activities to Promote Vocational Skills Learning for at-risk Students at Phuhangpattanawit Mattayom School under the Office of Secondary Educational Service Area Kalasin

Abstract

          The purposes of this study were 1) Occupational skills of at-risk students by using activities to promote vocational skills learning; 2) career attitude of at-risk students using vocational skills learning promotion activities; and 3) satisfaction of at-risk students with occupational skills promoting activities. Learn professional skills by using a quasi-experimental research model the sample group used in this research were junior high school students. PhuhangPattanawit Secondary School 30 persons under the Secondary Educational Service Area Kalasin, semester 2 of the academic year 2022, were obtained by using a specific random sampling method. The research instruments were 1) the occupational skills assessment form of at-risk students, 2) the occupational attitude assessment form of at-risk students, and 3) the satisfaction questionnaire of at-risk students towards activities promoting skills learning. Occupation The confidence value was 0.95. The statistics used in the data analysis were percentage, mean and standard deviation.

          The results of the research were as follows: 1) the students in the risk group had professional skills. Overall, it's at a good level. The mean was 3.21, the standard deviation was 0.64. 2) The students had professional attitudes. Overall, it's at a good level. The mean was 2.51, the standard deviation was 0.50, and 3) the students were satisfied with the occupational skills learning promotion activities. Overall, it was at the highest level, with a mean of 4.75 and a standard deviation of 0.61.
