Development of Administration Framework for Student Care System In Nikomsangtonangrayong 5 School Under Rayong Education Service Area Office 1

Abstract

The research in topic of the development of administration framework for student care system in Nikomsangtonangrayong 5 School under Rayong Education Service Area Office 1 aimed to 1.Study situation, problems, and administration framework for student care system 2.Create administration framework for student care system 3.Evaluate administration framework for student care system 4. Study the result from using administration framework for student care system.

          The research was based on mixed method and divided into 4 steps. Step 1, study situation and problems in administration framework for student care by using questionnaire and semi-structure interview. The informant group consisted of 2 administrators, 31 public teachers and academics, and 120 parents from parent network selected by purposive sampling. Moreover, data was collected by focus group, the informants consisted of 2 administrators, 5 public teachers and 24 parents selected by purposive sampling and data was analyzed by content analysis. Step 2, set framework components by integrating result from theory synthesis with the synthesis of concept, tools, and relevant research on administration framework for student care system in order to set framework components of administration framework for student care system for students from Nikomsangtonangrayong 5 School. The framework was reviewed by a focus group of 8 academics and experts in order to evaluate the administration framework for student care system for students from Nikomsangtonangrayong 5 School. Step 3, evaluate the result from using administration framework for student care system. Data was analyzed by evaluation form and seminar with administrators, teachers, and parents. Statistics for data analysis was Mean, and Standard Deviation.

          Result showed;

            1.The study of situation, problems, and administration framework for student care system revealed that the school lacked systematic planning in building student care system, staffs disregarded student care system and abstain from planning student care system, student data was unorganized causing insufficient screening data. Also parents abstain from giving information, teachers lacked understanding in organizing activities enhancing student productivity, student activity was ambiguous, collaboration for understanding in student care system was missing. Teachers lacked skill and continuous action in basic counselling students. Transfer lacked suitable internal and external cooperation, transferring information was unclear, there was no audit, monitor, and follow up from relevant bodies. 

1. The administration framework for student care system in Nikomsangtonangrayong 5 School consisted of 4 components 1. Management 2. Individual students knowing/student screening 3. Network in problem prevention and transfer 4. Student development and support.
2. The result from using administration framework revealed that the framework was suitable for school context and clear for teacher and support for student quality.
