Development of the process for Guidance Activity using Design Thinking process and Case Based Learning to Enhance Creative Problem Solving for Grade 10 th Students

The purposes to this research were to : 1) development of the process for Guidance Activity using Design Thinking process and Case Based Learning to Enhance Creative Problem Solving for Grade 10 Students. 2) evaluate the effectives of using the process for guidance activity. 3) to survey the student’s satisfaction toward guidance activity. The sample was selected by a comprised of 34 grade 10 students, obtained by cluster Sampling. The research instruments were consisted of the process for guidance activity, a handbook, units and lesson plans, creative problem solving abilities evaluation forms, the record guidance activities (Journal Writing) and the satisfaction assessment form for the process for guidance activity. The data were analyzed by mean (X ̅) standard deviation (S.D.) and percentage (%).
The results were as follows: 1) The process for guidance activity called “4I step” activity process 4 steps : (1) Inspiration (2) Ideate (3) Innovation and (4) Impart. 2) The creative problem solving of grade 10 students during the formulation of guidance activity has been developed. 3) Students’ satisfaction towards using the process for guidance activity. The overall of the students’ satisfaction were at highest level.
