Development of a Learning Activity of History on The King who founded The Kingdom of Thailand using Active Learning Management for Prathomsuksa 3 Students

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to: 1) development of a learning activity of history on the king who founded the kingdom of Thailand using active learning management for Prathomsuksa 3 Students to meet the set criteria of 80/80, 2) compare students’ learning achievement before and after learning through the development of a learning activity of history, and 3) explore the students’ satisfaction toward learning through the developed learning activity of history. The samples, obtained through cluster random sampling, were 31 students from Prathomsuksa 3/1 at Banpakoon(pakoonpadungwit) School, in the second semester of the academic year 2022. The research instruments consisted of a learning management plan, a learning achievement test, and a satisfaction assessment form. Statistics for data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation, and Dependent Samples t-test.

          The findings were as follows: 1) the learning activity of history on the king who founded the kingdom of Thailand using active learning management had the efficiency of 80.52/80.65, which met the defined criteria of 80/80, 2) the students’ learning achievement scores were higher than those of before the learning activity of history on the king who founded the kingdom of Thailand using active learning management the intervention at a statistical significance of .05 level, and 3) the students’ satisfaction toward learning through the learning activity of history on the king who founded the kingdom of Thailand using active learning management was at a highest level.
