This study aimed to: (1) investigate the model and implementation process of the Ethics in Professional Learning Community (E-PLC) at Matthayom Wat Khaosukim School, Chanthaburi Province; (2) examine the development of teacher professional ethics through the E-PLC process; and (3) study the effects of E-PLC implementation on teacher and student quality. The research employed a mixed-methods approach, combining school-based action research and descriptive research. The target group consisted of 15 teachers and 28 Grade 11 students selected through purposive sampling. Research instruments included a teacher professional ethics assessment form, an academic achievement test, a student learning behavior assessment form, reflective journals, and supervision records. Quantitative data were analyzed using mean, standard deviation, and dependent samples t-test, while qualitative data were analyzed through content analysis.
The findings revealed that: (1) the E-PLC model consisted of five key components: Reflection, Collaboration, Instructional Design, Implementation, and Authentic Evaluation, which were systematically interconnected and served as mechanisms for developing teacher professional ethics and instructional innovation; (2) teachers demonstrated significantly higher levels of professional ethics after participating in the E-PLC process at the .05 level of statistical significance, with the overall mean score increasing from 3.51 to 4.39; and (3) the implementation of E-PLC positively affected teacher and student quality. Teachers were able to develop instructional innovations, including Active Learning, Gamification, and Competency-Based Education, through the systematic application of the ADDIE process. Students showed significantly improved academic achievement, with mean scores increasing from 62.30 to 78.45 at the .05 level of statistical significance. In addition, students demonstrated improved participation, responsibility, and analytical thinking skills. The implementation of E-PLC also contributed to the development of a learning organization culture and continuous school improvement.
The study generated a practical model for developing teacher professional ethics through the E-PLC process, integrating teacher development, instructional innovation, student quality, and organizational improvement into a systematic and sustainable framework.
