Guidelines for Academic Administration of Educational Institutions in the Digital Era under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Bangkok 1, Group 2

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to study the state of academic administration of education school in the digital era under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Bangkok 1, Group 2, and to propose guidelines for academic administration in the digital era for these institutions. This study employed a mixed-methods research approach consisting of two phases: Phase 1 focused on examining the state of academic administration in the digital era, and Phase 2 focused on developing guidelines for academic administration in the digital era. The research instruments included a questionnaire and interviews. Data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation.  The results revealed that the overall state of academic administration of educational school in the digital era under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Bangkok 1, Group 2, was at a high level. The proposed guidelines for academic administration in the digital era comprised five aspects: (1) media, innovation, and technology development, emphasizing the creation of a digital learning ecosystem and a practical central platform; (2) instructional management, focusing on shifting teachers’ roles to facilitators and promoting active learning; (3) measurement and evaluation, utilizing digital technology to reflect individual learning progress in real time for formative assessment; (4) teacher and staff development, enhancing morale and advanced digital skills through diverse incentive systems; and (5) administrative leadership, emphasizing supportive leadership and the development of an organizational culture that is open to innovation and collaborative learning.
