THE SOCIALIZATION PROCESSES OF NOVICES’ BEHAVIOR AT JEDI LUANG TEMPLE, MUANG DISTRICT, CHIANGMAI PROVINCE

Abstract

This research was aimed tostudy1) the knowledge about the behavior of novice refined 2) to analyze attitudes toward novice refined behavior, 3) to study the use of religious principles to shape the behavior of novice. This research is a qualitative study. the populationwas novices aged 13-18 years. Results of the research were as follows; Novices gain knowledge about the Buddha's teachings can be applied in real life, affecting the life and practice will keep them mentally healthy. Chanting let's concentrate on learning activities and help foster a better person. Known principles teach them diligently take benefit and were responsible for making unity as a volunteer. The practiceis known in Buddhism. Novices’ weretaught humility. Supporting the cause of the novice was refined behavior. Chantingevery day that do well, do not evil and its reliance on self-taught to be ashamed Fear of sin. The novice should have training before arriving in the big city. The study of Pali language is stronger. The joint activities were causing changes in social behavior.
