THE DEVELOPMENT APPROACHES AND GOOD GOVERNANCE PRINCIPLES OPERATION OF SAVING FOR PRODUCTION GROUP TO SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT IN NAKORNTHAI DISTRICT, PHITSANULOK

Abstract

The objectives of this study were to examine the operation of Saving for Production Group to social development, and to explore the operating procedures based on good governance of Saving for Production Group to social development. Moreover, this study aimed at discovering The development approaches and good governance principles operation of Saving for Production Group to Social Development in Nakornthai district, Phitsanulok. A sample was selected from 396 members of Saving for Production Group in Nakornthai district, Phitsanulok using simple random sampling method. The research instrument using to collect data was the questionnaire with 1-5 Likert’s scale 36 questions in total. Statistics in this research used are percentage, frequency, mean, standard deviation and t-test. The results of the study were as follows; 1. The results of operating procedures following the good governance of Saving for Production Group to social development in Nakornthai district, Phitsanulok were in the 4th out of 5 levels. 2. The total acceptable average of the comparison analysis examining the good governance in different aspects were at 3.42 which was based on the researcher’s assumptions. 3. Problems and obstacles in the operation following the good governance of Saving for Production Group to social development in Nakornthai district, Phitsanulok were lacking of knowledge in managing and operating documents and accounts, lacking of knowledge in rules and regulations in operating procedure, and lacking of supporting laws as effective law enforcement and compliance.
