STRENGTHENING PEACE IN THE SOCIETY WITH GRATITUDE

Abstract

This article was intended to looking for ways to strengthen peace with principle of gratefulness. From the study, it was found that gratitude was a quality of knowing the done favours of the patronage. Gratefulness is to repay the benefactors both directly and indirectly such as parents and others with cares resulting in physical and mental comfort. Gratefulness could make human society a peaceful society because it preserved and sustained the human mind in society to remain in goodness and could also be applied to animals, things and natures. On the other hands, gratefulness was beneficial not only to humans but to other beings and nature also. It made a peaceful society i.e. respecting to one another, not hurting the others. It was a fundamental virtue which could strengthen peace in society.
