Abstract

In the orientation, the Lord Buddha said even through birth is suffering. It makes someone see that Buddhism is pessimistic. But in the fact that, The Lord Buddha explained reasoning. And at the same time suggesting that he can turn the other hand to see that When suffering, must be happy. As if it were dark, it must also be bright. Therefore, in the Tipitaka, the word “happiness” has been placed in the scriptures under the category of Dhamma that says paragraph.

According to the study of the Dhamma section in the aforementioned paragraph of happiness, it is found that happiness is the opposite of suffering. That is to say the suffering caused by contention … by internal lust … by the war … by the management of five Khandha … by hunger … by illness … by associating with the bad people. After treating these causes, it can be considered as happiness.

In conclusion, there are 2 types of happiness in Buddhism: physical happiness and mental happiness. Or world-class happiness and above world-class happiness.
