THE LEADERSHIP OF SANGHA ADMINISTRATOR IN COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT IN NONGYAI SUBDISTRICT PRASAT DISTRICT, SURIN PROVINCE

Abstract

The objectives of this research were: 1) to study the leadership of monks towards the community development of NongYai Sub-district, Prasat District, Surin Province 2) to compare the opinions of Buddhists towards the leadership of the Sangha Contributions to the community development of NongYai Sub-district, Prasat District, Surin Province. 3) To present the approaches for the development of the monks' leadership towards community development of NongYaiSubdistrict, Prasat District, Surin Province. The research method is a combined method, namely quantitative research. by simple random sampling By drawing lots and distributed questionnaires to people in the area of ​​the Nong Yai Subdistrict Administrative Organization, totaling 388 photos/person. Qualitative research By conducting in-depth interviews with key informants, 14 photos/person. Statistics used include percentage, mean, standard deviation, research results. It was found that 1. The leadership of the monks has an effect on the community development of the Nong Yai Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Prasat District, Surin Province. Overall, it is at a high level (  = 3.52, S.D. = 0.42). 2. Compare the leadership of the monks towards community development of the Nong Yai Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Prasat District, Surin Province. Classified according to personal factors, including status (monastic, lay), age, education, and hometown. It was found that both monks and lay people There were different opinions on the leadership of the Sangha towards community development (Sig = 0.008), which accepted the research hypothesis. 3. Guidelines for developing the leadership of the Sangha towards community development of the Nong Yai Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Prasat District, Surin Province. That is, the Sangha should have a broad vision. Have good intelligence and knowledge. Always seek knowledge to develop yourself so that you can develop the community.
