The study of Information technology for administration of schools under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Surin

This research aimed to: 1) study the condition of information technology use according to the opinions of administrators and teachers in schools under the Surin Secondary Educational Service Area Office; 2) compare the opinions of administrators and teachers regarding the condition of information technology use in schools, categorized by position and school size; 3) explore development guidelines for the use of information technology in school administration under the Surin Secondary Educational Service Area Office. The sample consisted of 314 administrators and teachers from schools under the Surin Secondary Educational Service Area Office, selected using stratified random sampling based on school size. The sample size was determined according to the Krejcie and Morgan table. The tool used was a questionnaire, which had a reliability coefficient of .91. The statistical methods used for data analysis included percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, and F-test. If significant statistical differences were found, pairwise comparisons were conducted using Scheffé's method.
The Research findings were as follows.
1) The condition of information technology use according to the opinions of administrators and teachers in schools under the Surin Secondary Educational Service Area Office was found to be at a high level overall.
2) The comparison of opinions regarding the condition of information technology use in school administration by position showed significant statistical differences at the .05 level. By work experience, significant statistical differences were found at the .01 level. By school size, there were no significant differences overall.
3) Development guidelines for the use of information technology in administration by administrators and teachers in schools under the Surin Secondary Educational Service Area Office indicated the need for higher-speed internet infrastructure, adequate allocation of modern materials and technology tools, and development of personnel regarding the use of information technology in schools.
