GUIDELINES FOR INTERNAL EDUCATION QUALITY ASSURANCE DEVELOPMENT BASED ON IDDHIPADA OF EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS UNDER THE SURIN PRIMARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA OFFICE 1

The objectives of this study were; 1) to examine the current state of internal quality assurance management in educational institutions, 2) to compare the state of internal quality assurance management in these institutions based on position, work experience, and school size, and 3) to propose development guidelines for internal quality assurance management based on Iddipada 4 in those institutions. Mixed-methods research design was use for the studies. Instruments used were questionnaire and interview form for sample group of 338 school administrators and teachers and 7 key informants. Statistical analysis used were percentage, mean, standard deviation, T-test and F-test for quantitative data while qualitative data were analyzed by content analysis.
The research findings were as follows:
1) The overall current state of internal quality assurance management in educational institutions was at a high level. When examined in specific aspects, all aspects were also rated at a high level.
2) The comparative analysis of internal quality assurance management classified by position, work experience, and school size revealed no statistically significant differences at the 0.05 level in either the overall or specific aspects.
3) The proposed development guidelines for internal quality assurance management based on Iddipada were categorized into six key aspects with a total of 18 guidelines, i.e. (1) Establishing educational standards for schools (2) Developing educational management plans for schools (3) Implementing according to the educational development plans (4) Evaluating and inspecting internal educational quality (5) Monitoring progress to enhance school quality according to educational standards and (6) a systematic process for monitoring results. The 6 aspects and 18 guidelines could be applied by the principle of Iddipada 4.
