APPROACHES FOR DEVEOPMENT OF ACADEMIC ADMINISTRATION BASED ON IDDHIPADA 4 OF SMALL SIZE SCHOOLS UNDER SURIN PRIMARY EDUCATIONAL AREA OFFICE 3

This research aimed to (1) study the academic administration of small schools based on Iddhipada 4 under Surin Primary Educational Service Area Office 3; (2) compare the conditions of academic administration in small schools based on Iddhipada 4, classified by position, work experience, and educational background; and (3) propose guidelines for the development of academic administration in small size schools based on Iddhipada 4 under the Surin Primary Educational Service Area Office 3.
The research employed a mixed-methods design, combining both quantitative and qualitative approaches. The instruments used were questionnaires and interview forms. The sample group for the quantitative data consisted of 140 school administrators and head of academic teachers. For the qualitative data, there were 7 key informants. The statistical tools used included standard deviation, percentage, mean, frequency, t-test, and one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA).
Research results found that
1) The overall condition of academic administration in small size schools based on the Iddhipada 4 under Surin Primary Educational Service Area Office 3 was found to be at a high level. When considered by individual aspects, one aspect was at the highest level, while the other four aspects were at a high level.
2) The results revealed that the opinions regarding academic administration in small size schools based on the Iddhipada 4 under Surin Primary Educational Service Area Office 3, classified by position, work experience, and educational background, showed no significant differences.
3) The findings identified 5 keys aspects and 10 guidelines for small size schools based on the Iddhipada 4 under Surin Primary Educational Service Area Office 3, which included as follows: (1) development of the school curriculum 2 aspects, (2) development of the learning process 2 aspects, (3) development of instructional media and technology 2 aspects, (4) educational supervision 2 aspects, (5) assessment, evaluation, and credit transfer of learning outcomes 2 aspects that align with the curriculum and are consistent with the Four Iddhipada principles of Iddhipada: Chanda (desire), Viriya (effort), Citta (attention), and Vimamsa (investigation).
