The research findings were as follows:
1.The reoffending behavior of drug offenders in Mukdahan Provincial Prison, influenced by five factors, was generally at a moderate level. When considering individual factors, opportunities for employment and social aspects had a significant impact, while economic and environmental factors had a moderate impact, and family factors had a low impact.
2. Guidelines for preventing and solving recidivism among drug offenders in Mukdahan Provincial Prison include: 1) Family: Provide knowledge to families about the impact of drugs on health, economy, and society so that families are aware of the importance of supporting inmates after their release by organizing relationship-building activities. 2) Environment and society: A suitable prison environment will help build knowledge and skills necessary for a constructive life, while the outside society should provide opportunities and acceptance so that ex-convicts do not return to risky behaviors. 3) Economy: Developing vocational skills, providing financial support, and creating career opportunities will help ex-convicts live stable lives and reduce the risk of recidivism sustainably. 4) Career opportunities: Organize vocational training courses that are in line with the needs of the local labor market. Provide support for career capital, provide assistance with start-up capital, provide consultation, and monitor performance results. Create private sector networks to provide employment opportunities for ex-convicts.
