The purposes of this research were: (1) to study the current state, desirable state, and the priority needs of the learning ecosystem of schools; (2) to study guidelines for developing the learning ecosystem of schools; and (3) to evaluate the guidelines for developing the learning ecosystem of schools. This research employed a mixed-methods research design. The total population consisted of 3,153 individuals, with a sample size of 343 participants determined using the Krejcie and Morgan formula. A focus group discussion was conducted with 10 experts, selected by purposive sampling, and the appropriateness and feasibility of the guidelines were evaluated by 30 experts. The research instruments included questionnaires, focus group discussions form, and an appropriateness and feasibility evaluation form. Data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, the Modified Priority Needs Index (PNImodified), and content analysis through qualitative data categorization and synthesis of key issues. The findings were then integrated and presented descriptively to reflect a systematic and academically significant overview of the learning ecosystem and its development guidelines.
The findings revealed that:
1. The current state of the learning ecosystem of schools under the Surin Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 was at a high level ( X= 3.57, S.D. = 0.60). The desirable states, both overall and by aspect, were at the highest level ( X= 4.70, S.D. = 0.47). The priority needs index (PNImodified), ranked from highest to lowest, were as follows: (1) learning management methods, (2) resources, (3) collaborative networks, (4) curriculum, (5) operational strategies, and (6) technology.
2. The guidelines for developing the learning ecosystem of schools under the Surin Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 consisted of 16 guidelines.
3.The evaluation of these development guidelines indicated that their suitability and feasibility in all aspects were at the highest level.
