Abstract

This research aimed to develop a learning management model on “Phu Phra Bat Historical Park (Cultural Heritage)” to promote local pride in Udon Thani among lower secondary students in the Pariyattidhamma schools of Udon Thani province. The sample group consisted of 189 lower secondary students and 72 key informants. The research instruments included questionnaires and interviews. Data analysis utilized frequency distribution, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and dependent T-test. The research results were as follows: In Phase 1, the overall learning management condition was at a moderate level, with the highest average score in social and cultural aspects (X̄ = 4.30) and the lowest in knowledge aspects (X̄ = 1.88). In Phase 2, a learning management model was developed, consisting of principles, objectives, content, learning activities (BEC-D-CE), and evaluation. In Phase 3, after applying the model to the target group, it was found that the students' post-test academic achievement was significantly higher than the pre-test at the .05 level. In Phase 4, the evaluation results showed that the learning management model effectively enhanced students' local pride and increased their knowledge of history and culture. The average post-test academic achievement remained significantly higher than the pre-test at the .05 level.
