Factors Affecting Understanding and Operations of Staff for of the Office of the Teacher Civil Service and Educational Personnel Commission Personal Data Protection Policy

The objectives of this research were to : 1) study the level of understanding of personnel regarding the Personal Data Protection Policy of the Office of the Teacher Civil Service and Educational Personnel Commission (OTEPC); 2) compare the level of understanding of the Personal Data Protection Policy of the OTEPC personnel within the OTEPC, classified by personnel factors; 3) compare the level of understanding of the Personal Data Protection Policy of the OTEPC personnel, classified by public relations factors; and 4) examine the relationship between the level of internal public relations within the organization and the level of understanding of personnel regarding the Personal Data Protection Policy of the OTEPC. The research findings revealed that: 1) The overall level of understanding of personnel regarding the Personal Data Protection Policy of the OTEPC was high. 2) The comparison of the level of understanding of the Personal Data Protection Policy of the OTEPC personnel within the Office, classified by personal factors, showed that personal factors including gender, education level, average monthly income, type of personnel, and duration of employment at the OTEPC did not result in significant differences in the level of understanding of the Personal Data Protection Policy of the OTEPC, which did not align with the formulated hypotheses. However, personnel with different age groups showed significant differences in their level of understanding of the Personal Data Protection Policy of the OTEPC, which supported the formulated hypothesis. 3) Personnel with different levels of internal public relations within the organization did not show significant differences in their level of understanding of the Personal Data Protection Policy of the OTEPC. 4) Overall, there was no correlation between the level of internal public relations within the organization and the level of understanding of personnel regarding the Personal Data Protection Policy of the OTEPC.
