GUIDELINES FOR ADMINISTRATION FOR PROFESSIONAL LEARNING COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT OF EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS UNDER THE OFFICE OF CHAIYAPHUM PRIMARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA 1

Abstract

               The objectives of this study were 1) to study the current situation and the desirable conditions of the administration for professional learning community development of educational institutions under the Office of Chaiyaphum Primary Educational Service Area 1 and 2) to study the needs of the administration for professional learning community development of educational institutions under the Office of Chaiyaphum Primary Educational Service Area 1. The sample group consisted of school administrators and teachers under the Office of Chaiyaphum Primary Educational Service Area 1 with the total number of 342 people. The instrument used was a 5-level rating scale questionnaire. The statistics used in data analysis comprised percentage, mean, standard deviation and Modified Priority Needs Index. (PNI modified index)

          The research results were found that:

1. The current situation of the administration for professional learning community of educational institutions under the Office of Chaiyaphum Primary Educational Service Area 1, in overall, was rated at a moderate level which could be arranged from the highest to the lowest level as follows: Supporting Environment, Shared experiences, Cooperative learning to implementation, Shared values ​​and vision, Unified leadership. The desirable condition of the administration for professional learning community of educational institutions under the Office of Chaiyaphum Primary Educational Service Area 1, in overall, was rated at a high level, when considering in each aspect, it was found that it was rated at a high level in all aspects arranging from the highest to the lowest level as follows: Supporting environment, Cooperative learning to implementation, Unified leadership, Shared experiences, Shared values ​​and vision.


2. The needs of guidelines for the administration for professional learning community development of educational institutions under the Office of Chaiyaphum Primary Educational Service Area 1, in overall, was at a high level, arranging from the highest to the lowest level as follows: Unified leadership, Cooperative learning to implementation, Shared values ​​and vision, Shared experiences, Supporting environment.
