Guidelines for the Promotion of the Media and Information Technology of Teachers for Learning Management in Mae Katoun Educational Quality Development Network Center under the Mae Hong Son Primary Educational Area 2

Abstract

This research aimed to study the conditions and problems and to propose guidelines for promoting the use of media and information technology by teachers for learning management in the Mae Katoun Educational Quality Development Network Center under Mae Hong Son Primary Educational Service Area Office 2. The population and key informants consisted of school administrators, teachers, and experts in the 2025 academic year, totaling 103 participants. The research instruments were questionnaires and structured interviews. The data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and content analysis. The findings revealed that the overall and individual aspects of teachers' use of media and information technology for learning management in the Mae Katoun Educational Management Center were at a moderate level. The main problems were the insufficient availability of instructional equipment and necessary technology in schools, which hindered student learning, and the selection of overly complex learning approaches that did not match learners' needs. The proposed guidelines include: 1) administrators should use technology in defining the school's vision and mission; 2) teachers should use technology to design learning management aligned with learning standards, indicators, core competencies, and desirable characteristics; 3) teachers should adapt instructional methods by using electronic media and technology to support active learning; 4) teachers should develop instructional innovations in all learning areas; and 5) teachers should use technology to select assessment methods that reflect learners' behaviors, abilities, and thinking processes.
